Tim's passion for farming can be traced back to his upbringing on a farm in the Haka Valley. Since leaving school, Tim has also pursued a career in professional rugby, accumulating an impressive 128 games for Southland, along with stints with the Highlanders (42 games) and Crusaders (10 games).
In addition to his rugby career, Tim also works as an oysterer for half of the year, which complements his involvement in the delivery operations at Advance Agriculture during the spring and summer seasons.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with his wife and four children.
